The Greater New Haven Celiac Group (GNHCG) calendar year begins in September. All members of the GNHCG have access to all our meetings, programs events, receive email updates and our publication, Celiac Newsletter. Our events give members the opportunity to socialize and exchange ideas with others diagnosed with CD and DH. The programs are scheduled at various venues, throughout New Haven County in Connecticut, generally on Sunday afternoons. Become a member.

"Taste of Celiac" Vendor Fair & GF Tasting Event

$5.00 for non-members; no charge for GNHCG members and children under 12
This is our fifth vendor fair, a very popular event featuring gluten-free products from the Greater New England area and beyond. It's a great opportunity to ask specific product questions and to "sample before you buy"! Many items will be available for purchase.

GNHCG Children's Holiday Party!
A Special Event with Beth Hillson
The following is a summary of some of the many exceptional and varied meetings, programs and events sponsored by the GNHCG since 1996.
Educational material and seminars presented by physicians: Dr. H. Binder, Dr. Bennick, Dr. D. Chang, Dr. A. Fasano, Dr. P. Green, Dr. Lang, Dr. T. Malahias, Dr. D. Pashankar, Dr. Spiro and Dr. R. Vender.
Authors, Bette Hagman, Rory Jones, Robert La France and Ann Whelan, shared their experience and knowledge about celiac disease.
Dietitians and other medical personnel shared their expertise. Among them, Kathy French, Erin Halfpenny, Michelle Melin Rogovin, Ronni Alicea, Ann Lee, Dr. Marita Holl and Lauren Komack.
Bob Moon and Bev Chevalier, Rebecca Bunting, Beth Hillson, Rebecca Reilly, and Judy Smith provided cooking demonstrations.
Committee and Board members organized: four GNHCG Walkathons, successfully raising money for and awareness of celiac disease, GF Pot Luck Dinners with recipes provided by GNHCG members, GF Restaurant Dinners, “Taste of Celiac” featuring GF vendors and their products and New Member Workshops.
